Atlanta United, a team already dealing with a shortage of first team players due to injury and international duty, will miss two more players who were injured in Thursday’s 2-2 draw with Nashville SC.
Midfielder Mo Adams was forced out of the action in the first half after making his second consecutive start since returning from preseason hernia surgery. His injury appeared to be to his thigh or hip area after taking a knock in the first half.
Defender Alex DeJohn revealed the day after the draw that he had sustained a broken elbow late in the second half, and was somehow able to carry on in the match to see out the result.
