UPDATE Oct. 9 3:00 p.m.: Atlanta United manager Stephen Glass hinted that new Atlanta United designated player Marcelino Moreno could play this Saturday against the New York Red Bulls (6:00 p.m. ET; FSS). Glass told media Friday “we do have something in mind for Moreno” despite the fact that the Argentine will not have trained or even met his teammates until he travels to Red Bull Arena with them Saturday.
Atlanta United’s newest addition is just one step away from taking the field. Technical Director and Vice President announced on Thursday that Marcelino Moreno has been cleared to play for the club and is available for selection.
