Atlanta United announced today that Ezequiel Barco, Pity Martinez, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez and Brad Guzan were voted into the MLS All-Star Game by fans. The game will be played July 31 against Atletico Madrid at Orlando City Stadium.
This is the first All-Star selection for Leandro Gonzalez Pirez (overdue) and Pity Martinez. Barco and Guzan are receiving the honor for the second consecutive season.
As always, pray for no injuries. The All Star Game will be played off the back of Atlanta United’s 9th match in a span of 31 days, and the team’s last game prior to the ASG will be on the west coast against LAFC on July 26.
