Eric Remedi will wear No. 11

Eric Remedi’s new locker at Mercedes-Benz stadium was seen following Atlanta United’s 1-1 draw against the Seattle Sounders. Atlanta’s newest signing was in attendance for the match, where he witnessed the city set a new MLS attendance record of 72,243.

Tata Martino sees his new addition as a pure holding midfielder. He is expected to make major contributions as soon as he’s deemed fit by the training staff.

“We’ll have to see based on the training, the amount of time he’s spent integrating into the team, and how games are going whether we feel we need him and Jeff [Larentowicz] to play together,” Tata Martino said Friday after Remedi’s arrival to the training facility.
