Atlanta United’s Saturday night match at Real Salt Lake will be on CW 69 (WUPA) and FOX Sports Southeast as the club’s third locally-televised broadcast. While Kevin Egan and Brittany Arnold will be at their posts as play-by-play commentator and sideline reporter, respectively, there will be a different, but familiar face serving in the analyst role.
Per a FOX release, Atlanta United president Darren Eales will fill in for regular analyst Dan Gargan behind the microphone in Salt Lake City this weekend. Eales certainly knows the team better than just about anyone and has a wealth of knowledge of the game of soccer overall; I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing Egan picking his brain and getting his impressions on not only how things have transpired thus far, but how he sees things unfolding going forward.
