Atlanta United will face off against Costa Rican club Liga Deportiva Alajuelense in the Concacaf Champions League Round of 16.
The opening weekend of the tournament will be April 6-8, with the second leg to be played on April 13-15. The opening day of the 2021 MLS season will be played on April 17.
This year marks Atlanta’s third consecutive appearance in the regional tournament, but Atlanta United has yet to make it past the quarter-finals of the competition. The Five Stripes fell to Monterrey in 2019 and Club America in the 2020 edition.
