Atlanta United Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra stated on Fox Sports South’s Atlanta United Live pregame show that after signing Eric Remedi from Banfield in Argentina, Atlanta United will not look to add any more pieces in the summer transfer window.
In the interview, conducted by Jillian Sakovitz and Dan Gargan, Bocanegra was asked by Gargan if Atlanta United fans should be excited to see another signing potentially come in to don the five stripes.
“No, this will be our last piece for the summer,” replied Bocanegra.
It’s a simple answer to a simple question, but it speaks volumes to what fans can expect from the team in the transfer window that opens July 10.
