Atlanta United signs Phillip Goodrum to Short-Term Agreement

Atlanta United announced today that forward Phillip Goodrum has signed a Short-Term Agreement for the club’s Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 match at FC Motagua Tuesday night. The four-day contract allows MLS clubs to sign players on loan from their USL affiliate for U.S. Open Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, AMWAY Canadian Championship and exhibition matches. Goodrum, who was selected by Atlanta with No. 75 overall pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft, signed with ATL UTD 2.

Goodrum, 22, played four years at UNC Wilmington where he totaled 32 goals and 15 assists in 76 career appearances.
