Atlanta United played to a 0-0 draw against New York Red Bulls Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in front of a crowd of 42,575. Brad Guzan made four saves to post his third clean sheet of the regular season as the club extended its home unbeaten streak in league play to five matches.
Both sides took time to settle into the match, but the action picked up as the first half drew to a close. Guzan made a big save in the 39th minute after a turnover on the edge of Atlanta’s own penalty area. Wikelman Carmona found Patryk Klimala running into the box where he one-timed a low shot on goal.
