Atlanta United today announced two roster moves ahead of MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando next month. Jon Gallagher has returned to the club after being on loan with Aberdeen FC, while Manuel Castro’s loan from Club Estudiantes de La Plata has been extended through the end of the 2020 season.
Gallagher, 24, initially joined Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen on loan in June of 2019 until the end of the 2019 MLS season. However, in January 2020, his loan was extended until the end of Aberdeen’s 2019-20 season. Gallagher made 33 appearances for Aberdeen across all competitions.
