Atlanta United 2 lost 4-1 to Louisville City FC Saturday night at Coolray Field. Romario Williams scored his second goal of the season with ATL UTD 2.
Atlanta dictated the opening quarter of the match and nearly found the game’s breakthrough in the 19th minute after Laurent Kissiedou drew a foul just outside of the 18-yard-box on the left side. Williams struck a free kick aimed at the far post, but goalkeeper Tim Dobrowolski made a diving save to keep the match scoreless.
Louisville broke the deadlock off a corner kick in the 24th minute. Oscar Jimenez’s kick took a deflection at the near post before bouncing off AJ Cochran and into the net for an own-goal.
