Will Coach Mike Budenholzer Stay with the Hawks?

From a feisty seven-game first round series with the Eastern Conference Finalist Indiana Pacers in his first season to the epic 60-win Hawks team that made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2014-15 season, Budenholzer has had a terrific run in Atlanta after 16 years as an assistant coach to Greg Popovich in San Antonio.

Bud was also caretaker of the team’s playoff streak, which ended this year, but he kept the team in the playoffs for four straight years – after six years in a row prior to that.

Despite this success, there have been rumblings that Coach Bud is unhappy as the tank commander on a team that is rebuilding.
