CHICAGO -- Even before Trae Young’s halfcourt shot at the buzzer fell, teammate Pascal Siakam had collapsed underneath the basket in celebration.
As the final seconds ticked off the clock before halftime, Young took a few long leaps and heaved. The bench exploded after the shot swished, with Kyle Lowry nearly tackling Young, who finished with a double-double of 10 points and 10 assists in Team Giannis’ 157-155 loss to Team LeBron in the All-Star game Sunday at United Center.
Young’s first bucket of the night came off a lob from Kemba Walker at the 7:41 mark in the first quarter, his only score in his first stint.
