Trae Young has presidential moment at all-star weekend

Trae Young’s NBA All-Star weekend got off to a presidential start on Friday.

The Hawks point guard met former President Barack Obama at an NBA Cares event in Chicago as the two, and Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson, worked a station to fill back pack with school supplies.

The two had a chance to talk during the event. The former president thinks the Hawks’ fortunes will turn for the better.

“He just loves watching me,” Young told reporters was asked about the conversation with Obama. “He watches me all the time and he said how it’s going to turn for the Hawks.
