Saturday morning, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report offered some potential insight on the status of both John Collins and Lou Williams. Fischer reports while the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs remain interested in Collins, the forward will “likely re-sign” with Atlanta on a deal that could exceed $120 million.
Fischer also notes that league sources also believe Williams may return to the Hawks on a veteran minimum deal. Williams had a solid postseason for Atlanta, helping them win Game 4 vs. the Milwaukee Bucks in the absence of Trae Young following his injury in Game 3 when he stepped on the foot of an official.
