Prior to summer league, it’s safe to say that the majority of Hawks’ fans may not remember who Kevin Pangos is. And if they did, it would be from his time starring for Gonzaga University under head coach Mark Few.
Now after three summer league games with the Hawks, Pangos is becoming a fan-favorite as he tries to earn a training camp invite from wherever he can.
Following his time at Gonzaga, Pangos signed a two-year deal with Herbalife Gran Canaria in Las Palmas, Spain. He was always known for having a great feel for the game and an efficient three-point shot, but judging from his performance thus far for the Hawks this summer, his skills improved immensely during his time overseas.
