The Atlanta Hawks will enter training camp with 15 players expected to begin the 2017-2018 regular season on the roster and Josh Magette signed to a two-way contract. However, the Hawks already have extended a training camp deal to Tyler Cavanaugh and, on Wednesday evening, Chris Vivlamore of the AJC reported that Atlanta will also bring Jeremy Evans to camp in Athens later this month.

Evans, who will turn 30 years in October, has six years of NBA experience, five of which came with the Utah Jazz. The 2016-2017 season saw the 6’9 forward playing overseas but Evans is likely best known for his win at the 2012 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
