Late yesterday, the Hawks made another roster move. Brad Rowland of the Locked on Hawks podcast broke the news that Atlanta had brought back a player on a two-way contract:

Jacob Toppin joined the Hawks last season on March 4th, although he spent the majority of his time (eight games) from then until the end of the G League season with the College Park Skyhawks.

He only played one game for the Hawks last season — the regular season finale against the Orlando Magic where he dropped 17 points (on 6-for-12 shooting and 5-for-8 shooting from three) and added four rebounds and two assists.
