Fans of the Atlanta Hawks had their antennas up after a recent tweet from Trae Young.
While this offseason has been a continuation of the 2022-23 season for the Hawks, who changed coaches and front office power structures during the year, the resounding message coming from those within the organization has been one of optimism. When a star player makes a comment, though, it can take on a life of its own.
And, when that message comes via social media with no previous or further context, the entire process happens at breakneck speed which seems to be the case for Young.
