The Hawks are expected to start the 2018-19 NBA season on the road with the finishing touches being put on the extensive renovations to Philips Arena.
The final of the $192.5 million three-phase major construction project at the arena, done over two years, is said to be on time and will be ready for the NBA season.
The schedule for the 2018-19 NBA season could be announced within the next two weeks with the regular season starting in mid-October.
Philips Arena recently announced the So So Def 25th Anniversary concert will be held on Oct. 21.
