ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club and GRAMMY® Award-nominated hip-hop artist 2Chainz today announced plans to transform the club’s Dec. 30 matchup against the Detroit Pistons into a “T.R.U. to Atlanta” year-ending party at Philips Arena. Chainz, who last performed at a Hawks game in March 2015, is returning this season with halftime and postgame performances, a custom retail piece and a month-long “T.R.U. Tuesdays” philanthropic campaign for fans throughout metro Atlanta.
“I’m looking forward to hitting the floor to perform at the last Hawks game of 2016,” said 2Chainz. “I’ve been all around the world, but there’s no place like Atlanta and I can’t wait to feel the energy at Philips Arena.
