While the days of Dirk, Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant as top-five assets are well behind us, five rookies proved to be worth a pick in the first eight rounds of fantasy drafts in 2017-18. According to Basketball Monster's per-game values, Donovan Mitchell led all rookies as the 54th-ranked player, a fifth-rounder in drafts.
