Former Atlanta Hawks big man Elton Brand is reportedly set to retire from the NBA.
When Elton Brand agreed to a one-year, $2 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks prior to the 2014-2015 season, many assumed that it would be his last season in the NBA. It appears those people were correct, as Brand reportedly announced that decision in the midst of his annual Youth Day at Peekskill High School in New York (h/t: The Examiner News).
"I could get in shape if I got the call but this looks like the end of the run for me, right now it is family time.
