Walter Tavares is getting closer to finding a new team. The former Atlanta Hawks big man is nearing a deal with the Raptors 905 of the NBA Development League according to a report by David Pick.

Tavares was waived by Atlanta on October 31 as the team faced a bit of a roster crunch after injuries to Tiago Splitter and Mike Scott.
