As expected, Hawks draftee Isaia Cordinier will return to France for another season. He will play for Antibes in the French Pro A basketball league, a step up from last season.
The Hawks selected Cordinier in the second round, No. 44 overall, in last month’s NBA Draft. The 19-year-old Cordinier played last season with AS Denain Voltaire in the French Pro B league and averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 23.4 minutes over 32 games.
Cordinier,a 6-foot-4 guard, recently competed for the Hawks in the Las Vegas Summer League. He appeared in five games and averaged 3.
