Atlanta Hawks: Month-By-Month Review of 2018-19 Season

Year two of the Travis Schlenk rebuild experience (name in progress) saw the Atlanta Hawks winning 29 games, a solid 5 more than last last years total.

That came to the surprise of most, as the roster was seen as less talented than before, and the veteran leftovers from the playoff teams were all gone.

Also, they were extremely slow out of the gates, which we’ll get to later, starting with an ugly 3-16 record. They were essentially eliminated from the playoffs by December.

They did get stronger month by month, and a lot of that had to do with the improved play of rookie star Trae Young and the fact that they dealt with multiple injuries until around February.
