Atlanta Hawks: Hawks Beat Knicks 112-101

Thursday night on TNT, the Atlanta Hawks found redemption from their embarrassing season-opening defeat by besting the New York Knicks 112-101 from Madison Square Garden.

Jeff Teague led the triumphant Atlanta charge with 23 points, on 7 of 12 shooting from the floor, while also making nine of ten from the foul-line.

Joining Teague in double-figures for the Hawks Thursday night were Al Horford (21), Kyle Korver (15), Dennis Schroder (13), Paul Millsap (11) and Tiago Splitter (10).

For Atlanta, rookie swing-man Lamar Patterson (9 points, 3-5 shooting, 2 threes) also had a strong performance.

For the New York Knicks (1-1) Carmelo Anthony led all-scorers with 25 points.
