Atlanta won’t send any players back to Los Angeles, instead either sending a heavily-protected second-round pick or at least $75,000 in cash, the minimum they need to send to comply with NBA rules. Liggins will also be immediately waived by the Hawks, per Woj:
The Hawks will waive Liggins, who has a non-guaranteed deal, league sources said.
