The Atlanta Hawks took on the another one of the young, rebuilding teams in the league in the Phoenix Suns at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on Saturday night. Trae Young and John Collins overpowered the Suns in this one, combining for 62 points on 53.6 percent shooting.
Atlanta actually had a whopping 24 turnovers, but shot better from the field, 3-point line and the free throw line. There were helped out by the fact that Huerter and Young went 6/16 (37.5 percent) from the 3-point line.
The Atlanta Hawks usually beat up their opponents in terms of paint points, but were actually outscored in the paint despite DeAndre Ayton not having a great game for the Suns (5/15 from the field).
