So the Atlanta Hawks and John Collins finally came to a contract agreement during the offseason. Some might say it is a year too late, others may say it is a few million dollars too short but the important thing is that Collins is back in the fold.
As the Hawks’ longest-tenured player, it was important that the Hawks bought him back as it sends a message to the rest of the league. This message is that the Hawks are here to stay and are going to be a force to be reckoned with.
