It is rather shocking to believe that DeAndre’ Bembry, who is still only 25 years old, will be the longest-tenured member of the Atlanta Hawks next season due to being with the team for a whopping four seasons.
Had Taurean Prince stuck around, Bembry and he would’ve been tied, but for now (with Kent Bazemore gone) the team’s lone holdover from the last time the Hawks made the playoffs is Bembry.
For the first time in his career, Bembry played in all 82 games last season and was a major part of the team’s bench unit – serving as a key defensive replacement for Trae Young while also serving as a tertiary ballhandler when the need arose.
