The Atlanta Hawks fell to the Houston Rockets Wednesday night, becoming the quickest team to reach 30 losses on the season.
It was a case of bad defense meets great offense, with the Rockets obliterating the Hawks on that side of the court early, nearly putting up 80 1st half points.
The Houston lead swelled to 23 in the 2nd period, but the Hawks ended that quarter hot, and carried that into the 3rd, cutting the lead to single digits.
The Rockets held a 5-10 point led for the rest of the night, with the pesky Hawks hanging around just enough.
