Why isn't Falcons' Julio Jones getting in the end zone more often?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Want to stump Julio Jones? Ask him if he remembers the last time he wasn’t double-covered in the red zone.

Turns out he has no idea.

“I can’t even remember,” Jones said. “I mean, it’s kind of like a given people are going to double-team me down there.”

As Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter pointed out as the Falcons prepare to face the Denver Broncos (1 p.m. ET, CBS) on Sunday, that’s the ultimate sign of respect for a receiver. But it’s also a big reason why the Falcons have been unable to meet one of their preseason goals of getting Jones more touchdowns.
