Where do the Falcons stand headed into Week 2?

The Falcons are scheduled to play an important football game tomorrow. If the Falcons can’t beat the Eagles in Week 2, the world won’t come to an end. Our pets’ heads won’t fall off. But it will likely set off mass hysteria within the fan base and make Dave cry.

So what’s the state of the franchise as Dan Quinn looks to right the ship?

On the injury front, the team is relatively healthy. (Now please go find some wood and knock on it.) The only player tabbed to miss tomorrow’s game is Matt Gono. Wes Schweitzer and Kenjon Barner were full participants in practice yesterday, and that’s a relief, particularly with respect to Barner, who put his skill set on display during the Week 1 loss to the Vikings.
