The Falcons - Saints rivalry has given us many, many disappointments alongside many great games. Today we’re here to remember the great games, or at least the great moments, as I’m going to ask you for your favorite memory in the long history of these two football teams.
There are so many worthy choices, given that these two teams have played 102 times. There was a great one just last year when a sad sack 1-7 Falcons team came out of the bye and stomped the Saints 26-9. There was the 45-32 boat race in 2016, the infamous and delightful 23-13 win in 2012 where the Falcons snapped Drew Brees’ touchdown streak and picked him off five times, and fun games like the tidy 36-17 thumping Atlanta delivered in December 2005.
