On this (hopefully) sleepy Sunday before the first official week of preseason, it’s time for an open-ended discussion question.
Watching the Falcons’ reserves largely shut down an (admittedly inept) Broncos offense was fairly encouraging, given how poor the depth was even a year ago. We haven’t seen the starters in action yet, but it’s safe to say the team’s hopes are high for them with everyone rounding back into health. A front seven with Deion Jones, Grady Jarrett, and a host of compelling secondary options, plus that killer safety tandem, is certainly talented enough to be great.
