It was only October when Steve Sarkisian had put together his best stretch as an offensive coordinator. The Atlanta Falcons had gaudy red zone and third down numbers, manufacturing 30+ points per game. Times have changed. After 31 games as the offensive play-caller, Sarkisian just still doesn’t have it.
It’s also firing season. The NFL is all about the results, and guys like Vikings offensive coordinator didn’t produce results.
Sarkisian has obviously gotten a lot more time than Defilippo. The results are still just as bad. The Falcons are already giving their young players more snaps to see what they have there.
