The Atlanta Falcons dodged a major bullet

Twitter is full of couch general managers, none of which appreciated the direction the Atlanta Falcons went with their first-round choices back in April. Many took to twitter to voice their displeasure with the Falcons not moving up to draft either Jonah Williams out of Alabama or Christian Wilkins from Clemson; both of whom went mere picks before the Falcons chose at 14.

The Bengals took Williams at 11th while the Dolphins took Wilkins with the 13th overall pick. As is always the case, turns out Thomas Dimitroff knew what he was doing.

The Bengals announced today that Williams would miss the entire 2019 NFL season due to a shoulder injury.
