Report: Atlanta Falcons great Chuck Smith added to Cincinnati Bengals coaching staff

Atlanta Falcons alumnus Chuck Smith must have grinned uncontrollably when he was picked in the second round of the 1992 NFL Draft. After an impressive prep career he graduated from Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia. He then attended junior college for two years. Eventually the University of Tennessee would offer him a full ride.

Smith went on to have a fabulous career in the NFL, amassing almost 60 sacks before persistent knee issues led to his premature retirement in 2000. Smith has since coached up a variety of talented pass rushers, both before and after their respective drafts.
