The Atlanta Falcons have officially addressed their need of linebacker, in the fourth round of the NFL Draft, with the selection of Fresno State’s Mykal Walker.
Walker provides versatility along the LB position, doing most of his work at Fresno State on the inside, but being able to kick outside when necessary. He has good technique as a tackler and read plays in front of him well.
The Falcons had previously met with Walker at the Shrine Bowl, and Dan Quinn apparently liked what he saw enough to pull the trigger on this selection.
