Matt Ryan strengthens Hall of Fame argument

There isn’t a more polarizing figure in Atlanta sports other than Matt Ryan and he probably has no idea; if he does his haters do not affect him. He shows up to work every day and does everything he can to lead the Falcons organization.

Coming into Sunday’s matchup against the Panthers, Matt Ryan needed just 254 yards to move into NFL history; he had 255 yards with 6:40 left in the third quarter after a touchdown pass to Calvin Ridley put the Falcons up 26-0.

Every person ahead of Matt Ryan is either in the Hall of Fame – Brett Favre, Dan Marino, John Elway or will be first ballot hall of fame selections when they are eligible – Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, and Eli Manning.
