Marcus Green injury: WR leaves Falcons - Broncos game with hamstring ailment

Related Topics: Atlanta Falcons, Hamstring

Marcus Green’s speed has made him intriguing all summer, and the 2019 sixth rounder figures to be an interesting player in the future for the Falcons. Unfortunately, a quiet game for the rookie ended in the third quarter with a hamstring injury.

Green exited the game and will not return tonight, per multiple reports. There’s no early word on the severity of the injury, so hopefully his exit is just a precautionary move. You hate to see it, either way.

Green is locked in a battle for the returner gigs and for the last wide receiver spot, and no one distinguished themselves in either spot tonight thus far, though Devin Gray, Shawn Bane, and Christian Blake have all had fine moments and Olamide Zaccheaus didn’t fare any worse than Green at returner.
