On Carolina’s first offensive drive, cornerback Kendall Sheffield took some friendly fire to the upper body from safety Keanu Neal attempting to break up a pass from Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. He was attended to on the field, walked off, and headed into the medical tent for evaluation.
With Sheffield’s status in question, the Falcons will look to Blidi Wreh-Wilson — who has been impressive when pushed into duty — to fill the hole in the secondary.
