Eleven seasons, six playoff appearances, two division championships, one horribly failed Super Bowl appearance, and zero Lombardi Trophies resting in the Atlanta Falcons headquarters. That’s the legacy of general manager Thomas Dimitroff thus far entering his 12th season on the job.
Part of those minor successes and more recent failures are a product of the job Dimitroff and his team have done in the NFL Draft each year. There have been some spectacular hits for Dimitroff, but just as many miserable misses. Looking back at each year with TD having at least a major hand in the draft, we can begin to see where some of this franchise’s issues lie.
