From Pro Bowl to fatherhood, quite a year for Falcons' Patrick DiMarco

It's been quite a year for Patrick DiMarco.

The Atlanta Falcons fullback signed a two-year contract extension in February 2015 worth $1.495 million. Then DiMarco proceeded to give the Falcons more than their money's worth while fighting off competition from Collin Mooney for the starting role. (Mooney, who suffered a ruptured biceps before last season, was released Monday.)

DiMarco had the first multitouchdown game of his life with two touchdown receptions in a 24-21 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He showed off the game balls here:

"My first multi-touchdown game of my life," said Patrick DiMarco with game balls in locker pic.
