FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The typically cerebral Alex Mack was set to offer a thoughtful response, as usual, but the Atlanta Falcons' six-time Pro Bowl center didn't want to pinpoint one moment as defining his team's dismal 6-9 campaign.
"Just let me relive all the worst moments of the season, why don't you?" Mack cracked. "Usually, there's a couple of plays every game where you really wish you wanted those back. You just always wish you can perform at the best of your ability."
The Falcons, strong Super Bowl contenders entering the 2018 season, didn't perform up to standard for a variety of reasons.
