The Atlanta Falcons have made a surprising move on All Hallow’s Eve regarding the practice squad.
It’s absolutely a shock to see CB Deante Burton, a guy the team had briefly active this season and who got signed by Green Bay temporarily as well, to hit the waiver wire this late in the season in exchange for Taveze Calhoun, who was on the Falcons’ practice squad just for a week or two it felt like.
Burton has been with the organization since 2017 and has been in the team’s developmental program ever since.
