The Atlanta Falcons have put the preseason and roster cuts in their rear view mirror, and the 2018 season opener is just days away. For the Falcons, it’s an opportunity to best the defending Super Bowl champions after they couldn’t last postseason, and to start off a promising season with a win against a great (if somewhat dented) team.
It’s a short week, but the Falcons are well-rested after they didn’t trot a single starter out there against the Dolphins in Week 4 of preseason. The Eagles won’t have multiple players, including starting QB Carson Wentz, while Atlanta’s remarkably healthy heading into the year.
