The Falcons wrapped up their 2019 season today with an overtime win over a division rival. In an alternate universe where the Falcons didn’t throw away the first half of their season, we’d be quite drunk rejoicing and looking ahead to the playoffs. Instead we’re left to wonder what the heck happened over the first 8 games and what could have been.
Today’s game marked the end of the Falcons’ season. But alas, as is usually the case during NFL games, there were injuries. Admittedly anyone who was injured today has an entire offseason to get healthy.
