Two days from now, the Falcons will be playing again, hoping to reverse a three game skid that has left them shipwrecked on the rocks of despair or somesuch. They’ll attempt to do so, fittingly enough, against the Buccaneers.
It is genuinely anyone’s guess whether the Falcons can win, because it’s going to require either a truly superlative offensive performance, a more solid defensive one, or both. We just haven’t seen much to feel good about for Atlanta over the last month aside from the offense, which wilted badly against a Steelers team that was willing to go right after Matt Ryan.
